The Way We Used To // Chelsea Wolfe
Since 2009, singer-songwriter Chelsea Wolfe has been known for the work of her two full-length LPs modeling her trademark electronically-tinged doom-folk. But this fall, Wolfe is releasing an all-acoustic LP entitled Unknown Rooms: A Collection of Acoustic Songs on October 16 via Sargent House.
As evidenced by the lead-off track, “The Way We Used To”, Unknown Rooms: A Collection of Acoustic Songs is just as ethereal and haunting as her electronic elements that defined much per her past work, even when stripped down to just an acoustic guitar & strings. This nine-track effort was recorded in the woods of Northern California at Wolfe’s L.A. home alongside co-producer/bandmate Ben Chisholm.
